We’re in Bloomfield

We’re centrally located to everything.

Runaway Rooster is located on Main Street in Bloomfield, a short 10-minute walk, cycle, or drive to the centre of town. Many of the finest restaurants, artisans, and shops are located near us.

We’re five minutes from Picton by car, and 10 minutes from Wellington. Sandbanks Provincial Park is less than 15 minutes away.

DIRECTIONS

From the west:

  1. Take Highway 401 East to exit 522 (County Road 40/Wooler Road toward Trenton).

    It’s about 35 minutes to our place once you exit the 401.

  2. Turn right onto County Road 40.

  3. Turn right onto Loyalist Parkway/County Road 33 – signs for Picton.

  4. Follow 33 all the way to our place!

    You’ll pass through County towns, including Consecon, Hillier, Rosehall, and Wellington.
    Note: when you pass through towns, 33 is often listed as Main Street.

  5. You’ll enter Bloomfield via our downtown. We’re on the east end of town, about 150 metres past Flame & Smith restaurant.

  6. We’re the red cedar (log-style) house on your left.

    We’re across from a house with a white picket fence, and a red house with a vintage tractor on the lawn.

  7. If you hit the Prinzen Ford dealership, turn back – you missed us.


Coming from east of PEC?

  1. Take Highway 401 West to exit 566 (Marysville Road/County Road 49 toward Tyendinaga/Picton).

  2. Once you exit, you’ll be on Regional Road 15 which turns into County Road 49 South.

  3. Continue straight to stay on 49.

  4. Continue onto Main Street Picton//County Rd 33 West.

    You’ll merge slightly to your right to stay on 33.

  5. Continue to follow County Road 33.

    You’ll pass through Main Street in downtown Picton.

  6. At the roundabout, take the second exit to stay on County Road 33 West.

    We’re just past Mallory Road and the Prinzen Ford dealership.

  7. We’re the red cedar (log-style) house on your right.

    We’re across from a house with a white picket fence, and a red house with a vintage tractor on the lawn.
